Born to Run

A young runaway and a group of elven allies collide in this opening SERRAted Edge adventure, where fast cars and hidden magic meet the danger facing children in trouble. Mercedes Lackey and Larry Dixon introduce the contemporary world of the series, its secret elven community, and the human companions who work to protect vulnerable young people. Read it first for the beginning of the main SERRAted Edge sequence and its blend of urban fantasy, racing culture, and found allies.
