General Susan Turner asks Jack Reacher to investigate the murder of a member of her team, sending him to a remote Colorado town built around large data centres and solar farms. Chain Reaction is the thirty-first numbered Reacher book, co-written by Lee Child and Andrew Child. The Waterstones paperback is available to pre-order for March 2027; the hardback is scheduled first, in October 2026.
