Conan the Triumphant follows Conan and his company of mercenaries into a struggle shaped by rival claimants and sorcery. The adventure brings back characters from earlier Jordan-written Conan stories. It is the fourth book in his Conan publication sequence; begin with Conan the Invincible and continue through the earlier novels first.
