Spirit and her friends believe they have stopped the force that was killing Oakhurst students, but a series of new magical attacks unsettles the school. Doctor Ambrosius brings in alumnus Mark Rider to secure the campus and train students for war. Spirit, the only student without visible magic, distrusts his methods and suspects that Oakhurst remains unsafe. She and her friends must uncover what is happening before they lose the chance to escape.
