In 1945, a B-29 bomber carrying a third atomic bomb crashes in the Pacific. Decades later, a Japanese nationalist syndicate plans to use the lost weapon to cripple the United States. Dirk Pitt and the NUMA team must find the sunken bomber before the terrorists ignite a nuclear nightmare.
