Castle of Deception

When young Kevin begins training as a bard, he expects a life of adventure, but his first assignment is to copy a manuscript at Count Volmar castle. The routine errand changes when the Count niece is supposedly kidnapped by elves and Kevin is asked to help recover her. The rescue draws him into a web of deception: the girl is not what she seems, the abductors are not truly elves, and the apparent adventure hides a larger trap. This opening novel introduces Kevin to the dangers and surprises of a bard life.
