Much Fall of Blood

After returning from Jerusalem, Prince Manfred and his bodyguard Erik escort an envoy of the Mongol Ilkhan toward the Golden Horde, a mission intended to avert conflict. Their journey draws them into a civil war, a rescue, and the fate of Prince Vlad of Valahia, whose people and supernatural allies may help renew ancient magic. Meanwhile, danger gathers around Chernobogs forces. Manfred and Erik must navigate diplomacy, shifting loyalties, and powers that demand a terrible price.
