Heirs of Alexandria in Publication Order

Publication Order for Heirs of Alexandria

Start with The Shadow of the Lion, then follow the coauthored Heirs of Alexandria novels in publication order. The series core story advances through recurring characters and the growing conflict around Chernobog, so keep the sequence intact. A Mankind Witch is a Dave Freer solo novel set between the first two coauthored books; it is an optional companion route rather than a Mercedes Lackey-authored series entry. All the Plagues of Hell follows later but does not credit Lackey and is not included on this author guide.
